Just Read It

So, I finished Daddy Long-Legs. Just read it. It ends most wonderfully. And have your pre-teen or teen daughter read it too, if she will listen to you :). It's just so wonderful. So, thanks Tammy, for introducing it to me!

I'm going to begin Pride and Prejudice. Can you believe I have never read that book? I know, I've fallen in estimation in your eyes. I am, after all, a librarian. How can I not have read this book?!? I plan to remedy that. I hope to add a lot of books to my list over there on the right. Because seriously, there was a time I finished a 300+ page book in 2 days. Ah, those were the good old days of being the Ashford Branch Librarian. I had a world of books at my fingertips and hadn't gotten good and delved into the world of school. School can be such a kill-joy. Haha, I'm kidding, of course. Well, not really. But it's a necessary kind of thing :). I kind of do like to satiate my hunger and have a comfortable place to live with plumbing on occasion, and what better way to do that than with a good-paying job? Darn logic and sense of responsibility.

Oh, which reminds me... My toilet's tank isn't re-filling... So it won't flush. I could stand for what feels like hours to fill the tank with a cup... Or I could call the apartment complex people. I think I will do the latter. So, let me do that then :).
